West Lindsey Branch - Striking Competition (18th June 2011)

Five teams took part in the Branch striking contest at Scotter on Saturday 18th June. We are very grateful to Tom Scase and Claire Monk, who came all the way from Suffolk to judge the competition.

Tom complimented all the teams on the good standard of ringing that was maintained throughout, and gave perceptive and helpful comments on the individual teams� performances.

The results were:

Messingham and Scotter will therefore go through to the Guild Cup contest and Epworth and Gainsborough to the Plate contest. These take place on Saturday 10th September at Willingham and Upton.

Well done and thank you to everyone who took part.

Thank you also to Scotter for the use of the bells and for the tasty sausages and strawberries provided for our refreshment.
