Email forwarders are working again!
I have with some help from the server manager found the spam filter that filters the emails that come in via the LDGCB forwarders. I have wound the filter threshold right up to a ridiculous level so that pretty much anything should now get through.
However (as I have discovered!) just because the LDGCB forwarder does not mark an email as spam does not mean that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) will not filter it as spam. I have sent test e-mails which sailed through the forwarders unscathed only to be dumped into my NTLWorld spam box on the server. To combat this I have been into my NTLWorld account settings and turned the spam filtering off. What this does (for my emails at least) is that the NTLWorld spam filter will still mark e-mails that it believes to be spam with the word <SPAM> (including the <> brackets) at the start of the subject line, but it will then send it to the inbox on my computer rather than hiding it away on the server.
If your ISP spam filter is blocking your emails then that is I'm afraid your problem. There is absolutely nothing I can do about that.
