Lincoln Cathedral - Centenary of First Peal

On Saturday 10th May 2014, a peal was rung at Lincoln Cathedral to celebrate the centenary of the first peal of Major to be rung on the new peal of 8 bells.

Rung by past and present members of the Cathedral Company of Ringers "The Company of Ringers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln".

Rung on the back eight, cast in 1913, to mark the centenary of the first peal of Major to be rung on the newly cast peal of eight bells, being Cambridge Surprise Major on 9th May 1914, using the original 1914 composition.
