R.I.P - Jack Parker
It is with deep regret that I have to report the death of Jack Parker of Grimsby. Jack rang the tenor to many of the peal attempts which I arranged with Harold Judd on the seventh. They were a good pair who could be relied on to set a good rhythm. Of his total of 214 peals 185 were for the LDG conducting 7 of them. He was very proud of his membership of the College Youths ringing 4 peals with that Society.
Jack was aged 89 and still ringing until recent months. His funeral was on Friday 18th June 2010 at Humberston.
