The Elloe District at Long Sutton - 2nd July

The second of Paul Doad's meetings ( the previous being at Crowland) was again well attended with district members from Spalding, Whaplode, Holbeach, Gedney, Lutton, Sutton St James, Crowland.

Visiting ringers from Freiston and Kirton received a warm welcome and assisted in a variety of ringing from rounds, plain bob minor and major, grandsire doubles and triples plus a course of stedman triples.

Our thanks to Father Jonathan Sibley who extended a welcome and to Marian Meadows, Kathy Whenman and Rita Bennett who helped to provide delicious cakes, biscuits and tea which, during the interval, were well appreciated by all.

A most enjoyable July 2nd evening.
