R.I.P. Ron Noon

It is with great sadness that I have to report that Ron died on the afternoon of the 3rd August, at Kelling Community Hospital in Norfolk. Both Joy and Rosemary were with him. As some of you know Ron had been ill for well over a year but has deteriorated significantly over the past few months. He would have been 90 years old on 16th August.

The funeral will be on Tuesday 18th August at Sculthorpe church (just off the A148 to the west of Fakenham) at 2:00pm then on to Kings Lynn Crematorium for 3:15pm. There is a ring of 6 at Sculthorpe and mum would like bells in / out of church - can we get a band please. We are thinking of finding somewhere in or around Kings Lynn for refreshments as most people will come via that way. That gives people option of crem only if don't come as far as us, we are about 25 mins from Kings Lynn, or if they only want to go to church it will be on their way home and they can go wherever we find and we won't be long before we can join them, as I have found in past it is an hour or more if people have to wait for family to return then they often don't stay.

Given that the family would like the bells rung both before and after the service, it will be useful to know how many ringers are hoping to attend and will be willing to ring. I am happy to be the point of contact for this so if you could reply to me please, which would also help to Rosemary with catering arrangements. I can be e-mailed on
