Ringers from across the guild gathered at Surfleet Reservoir today to help Michael celebrate his 60th birthday.

Christine Payne of Spalding tower worked very hard to arrange the event at the reservoir, where there were drinks and snacks as well as the chance to have a go in a boat on the water.

The event was enjoyed by all who attended. Some images and videos of the event can be seen below.

"Christine's inspiration, enthusiasm and hard work together with everyone who lent their support made for a most successful afternoon, and it was great to see how many of my ringing friends were there, and very moving for me when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" - a great atmosphere in a perfect setting, with the fabulous boating and refreshments too, enjoyed by all!
