Various towers throughout Elloe were able to participate in Ring for the King, with both new and experienced ringers being able to take part.

Below are a few photographs, evidencing the occasion.

Holbeach

Spalding

Spalding had 17 ringers present and were able to ring Rounds and Kings, Plain hunt on eight and Plain Bob Major. Bev Elsdon, Katie Arnott, Maxine Arnott, Vera Hall, Pearl Machin, Josh Doades, Michael Slater, Philip Hall, Claire Hall, Joyce Massey, Ruth Townsend, Diane Riddick, Sandy Smith, Andrew Hall, Malcolm Robinson and Paul Doades all came together and had a street party celebration event in church afterwards.

Long Sutton

Long Sutton ringers The band at Long Sutton rang rounds from 10am.

Lutton St Nicholas

Lutton St Nicholas were also able to participate with a band of in-house ringers. The first time in many years so with new ringers included they rang call changes of Kings and Queens – fitting the occasion.

Gedney and Fleet

Gedney and Fleet ringers Gedney and Fleet had a band of 10 ringers. This is a photo of the ringers outside of St Mary Magdalene Church, Fleet. They rang there on Saturday 6th and also at St Mary's in Gedney that morning. On Sunday 7th we rang at Sutton St James and Tydd St Mary.

Moulton

Vera Hall, Helen Harvey, Billie Lowe, Michael Slater and John Laud. In Moulton the ringers (left to right) included Vera Hall, Helen Harvey, Billie Lowe, Michael Slater and John Laud.
