Ringing Remembers - Some pictures from around the County

Some pictures from the Branches

Central Branch

We have a number of very proud ART tutors in the pictures who have done such sterling work to get their "Ringing Remembers" recruits up to the necessary standard to be able to ring for the Armistice Day Centenery. A really big "Well Done" to Waddington and Wragby, who without any real outside help, got all their bells ringing just with their local ringers. Congratulations to all concerned.

To commemorate the end of WW! our group of ringers rang at Bicker, Donington, Quadring, Gosberton finishing at Surfleet and with some ringing at Pinchbeck at the same time where the 2 beacons were lit! We started at Bicker at 3.00pm with 4 bells rung as chimes [Peter Wakefield, tower captain of Gosberton, bought his son and family along to chime while ringers rang rounds on the back 4 bells The event involved 24 people [ringers and visitors] with 11 or more ringing at each tower. Our day was finished at Surfleet village hall to partake of warming soup and cakes. Many thanks to all involved.
